Job summary

Lebanon Community School District seeks a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a temporary position through December 4, 2026. Work 7.25 hours per day, Monday–Friday, with wages between $23.47 and $29.69 per hour, placement based on experience under LESPA contract.

Under supervision, you will assist in various instructional activities and provide treatment support for students with special needs, including screenings, data collection, and clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 45 SLP coursework credits and 45 general education credits with 100 clock hours practicum.
• State certification from the Oregon State Board of Examiners for Speech, Language & Audiology.
• Demonstrated knowledge via formal academic assessment.
• Criminal history clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language and hearing screenings per supervising SLP protocols.
• Provide direct treatment assistance per written plans.
• Document progress and report to supervising SLP.
• Assist with data collection for assessments.
• Prepare materials and assist with clerical duties as directed.
• Schedule activities and maintain data displays.
• Bill Medicaid for provided services.
