Job summary

Novant Health is hiring Registered Nurses for Day-shift opportunities at Hilton Head Medical Center in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Temp Assignment Based RNs provide safe, continuous patient care across units during a 13-week assignment with potential conversion to full-time benefits.

Applicants must be graduates of an accredited nursing program, hold an SC license, and have BLS; travel nurse experience with Novant Health is preferred. Schedule includes 7:00am–7:00pm, three 12-hour shifts weekly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Current valid South Carolina nursing license.
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
• Two consecutive years within defined specialty.
• Current/previous travel nurse experience with Novant Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, continuous quality patient care in a variety of settings while temporarily assigned to one unit.
• Deliver care within the 13-week rotation and support a smooth patient workflow.
• Contribute to delivering remarkable patient experiences and uphold Novant Health standards.

We are seeking current or previous travel nurses who have worked with Novant Health who are interested in joining our 90 Day Temporary Assignment Program in the effort to convert to a permanent position after the assignment is completed.

• Schedule: PRN, 0.1 FTE, Day Shift, 7:00am – 7:00pm. Will be assigned a three 12-hour shift rotation every week for 13 weeks (about 90 days).

Temp Registered Nurse Progressive Care Unit Full Time Days Job Summary:

Temp Assignment Based RNs are experienced, proficient nurses within their specialty (medical/surgical, telemetry, critical/intermediate care, behavioral health, emergency or women's services) responsible for providing safe, continuous quality patient care in a variety of settings. These RNs are temporarily assigned to one unit for a designated number of weeks based on needs of the system. These RNs possess the skills, competency and qualifications, as well as a requirement to work in any Novant Health location.
