Job summary

Metro Infectious Disease Consultants in Burr Ridge, IL is seeking a Research Assistant to provide non-clinical support through data collection for multiple research projects under the Director of Research. The temporary role involves data entry and data access for researchers, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm, at a rate of $20/hour.

The position requires a high school diploma; higher degrees in social sciences or health-related fields are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or health-related field preferred.
• Experience in the medical field preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products and EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter data accurately into a data capture system for sponsors and CROs.
• Provide ready access to experimental data for researchers and supervisor.
• Assist Clinical Research Associates monitoring each study (on/off-site).
• Invoice for payments associated with the clinical trial budget.
• Attend project meetings and communicate with staff via email and phone.
• Responsibilities may change at management’s discretion.
