Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized care to patients who are critically ill but stable enough to not require intensive care. They monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to changes in patient condition. The RN collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are essential in this intermediate care setting.

Registered Nurses are responsible for the assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care delivery. The Registered Nurse providers clinical leadership to the patient care team for the assigned shift.
