Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry (Days) Windsor VT

Job Details

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients
• Participate in patient and family teaching
• May be asked to serve as backup Charge Nurse
• Work cooperatively with the healthcare team to maintain professional standards

EMR System: Cerner

Nurse to patient ratio: 1 to 4/5

Average daily patient census: 22

Requirements:

• 2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience
• Previous travel experience (minimum 3 months)
• Charge RN experience required
• BSN preferred
• Current Vermont license
• ACLS and BLS certifications

Additional Information:

• Must have own vehicle (local travelers within 50 miles are not eligible)
• Block scheduling will not be considered
• Weekend and holiday requirements as needed
• On-call requirements: TBD

Important notes:

• All requested time off must be noted and verified at upload. RTO requests after upload will not be approved. No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
• Adherence to the 3 strike rule for call-offs at Mt Ascutney Hospital.

Certification Requirements: ACLS, BLS (AHA)

Travelers: Must have recent travel experience, own vehicle, and meet the profile requirements listed.
