Job summary

Gold Standard Staffing is seeking a Quality Inspector for a short-term manufacturing/warehouse assignment in Portage, Michigan. The shift is 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, pay rate $15 per hour, and the assignment is expected to last 1-3 months.

PPE includes closed-toed shoes, long pants, and shoulder coverage; a drug screen is not required and a background check is conducted. Responsibilities include inspecting parts, reading work instructions, using measuring tools, recording data, and ensuring products

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Good communications skills required.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and have reliable transportation.
• High School Diploma or equivalent recommended.

Responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured parts or products for defects.
• Read and follow work instructions and processes.
• Use measuring or testing equipment as needed.
• Ensure products meet defined quality standards.
• Display excellent customer service and safety compliance.
• Record data and comply with health & safety policies.
