Gold Standard Staffing seeks a Quality Inspector for a short-term assignment in Michigan. The role focuses on inspecting manufactured parts or products, following instructions, and ensuring adherence to quality criteria. A focus on accurate data collection and timely reporting is required.

No prior experience is necessary, but reading blueprints is a plus. The position requires English fluency, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and reliable transportation to the site.

Shift time: 7a - 4p

Pay rate: $15 per hour

Assignment is expected to last 1-3 months

PPE: Closed toed shoes. Must wear long pants (no shorts) and shirts must cover up shoulders

Overall Purpose of the Quality Inspector

Provide Quality services and support for all missions assigned to a manufacturing or warehouse site while ensuring a healthy and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Client Relationship & Business Development

• Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria

Operations

• Check/inspect manufactured parts or products for defects
• Read and follow work instructions and general processes
• Use measuring or testing equipment as needed
• Ensure products meet quality standards
• Display excellent customer service
• Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies

Organization & Management

• Collect and record data

Technical

• Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements

Other

• Any other duties as assigned
