Job summary

U.S. Sugar is seeking a Temp - QA/QC Laborer in Clewiston, FL for a 90-day assignment. The role involves cleaning duties within the Refinery/Packaging areas, with overtime and weekend work as needed.

You will support refinery/packaging personnel, operate basic equipment, and uphold safety and quality standards. Reporting to the QA/QC Team Leader, the position requires physical ability, English proficiency, and compliance with drug testing and background screening.

Qualifications

• Must pass company tests designed to measure basic skills and aptitude.
• Must be 18 years of age or older with a good work record.
• Must read, write and speak English to follow instructions and communicate safely.
• Must pass drug test and pre-employment background screening; forklift certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Use cleaning tools and equipment to maintain cleanliness in Refinery/Packaging areas.
• Operate forklift, man-lift and other heavy equipment as needed.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and regulatory policies and training.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and required trainings.
