Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE in Denton, TX is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to become the heartbeat of the production floor, translating drawings into fully assembled equipment and ensuring tight tolerances. You will work with hand and power tools, jigs, and torque wrenches to assemble housings, mounts, and precision components.

In a fast-paced environment, you will inspect components for fit and finish, perform functionality checks, and collaborate with engineering and QC to resolve issues, with safety gear

Qualifications

• Experience assembling mechanical components and housings.
• Proficient reading of mechanical drawings, BOMs and assembly instructions.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and mechanical systems; hydraulic experience is a plus.
• Ability to work with metal parts and sharp edges in a fast-paced environment.
• Manual dexterity and precision craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical drawings into assembled equipment.
• Use hand and power tools, jigs, and torque wrenches to assemble components.
• Ensure components fit with tight tolerances and clean finishes.
• Spot misalignments and coordinate with engineering or QC to resolve.
• Run functionality checks, airflow tests, and diagnostics before testing or shipping.
