Job summary

Sage Alliance Schools in Paramus, NJ is seeking a PE teacher to support students in grades 5–12 through rigorous academics and therapeutic services. The ideal candidate will guide students in a nurturing environment that values growth and safety.

This is a temporary coverage position from August 24, 2026 to November 11, 2026, with both part-time and full-time schedules available. Pay ranges from $25 to $28 per hour for part-time and $11,250 to $12,600 for full-time depending on experience.

• Valid state teaching certification preferred.
• Experience working with emotionally fragile students.

For part-time placement, the pay rate is $25–$28 per hour, depending on experience.

For full-time placement, the prorated salary is $11,250 to $12,600, depending on experience.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education & Health, Kinesiology, or Exercise Science
• Valid state teaching certification, preferred
• Experience working with emotionally fragile students
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
