The Department of Teacher Education, Educational Leadership, and Policy (TEELP) at the UNM College of Education and Human Sciences is seeking candidates for temporary, part time faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. The UNM College of Education and Human Sciences, comprised of five academic departments, is a future-oriented, dynamic professional school organized to reflect the following values: Advocacy, Building Professional Identities, Collaboration, building strong School/University Partnerships, Diversity & Social Justice, Interdisciplinary Inquiry/Scholarship, and Teaching, Learning and Leadership.
These part time instructors are expected to teach undergraduates and graduates in Elementary and/or Secondary licensure programs, particularly focused on supporting teacher candidates in learning from their field experience in order to build competence, care, cultural responsiveness, self-reflection, collegiality and evidence-based assessment. The instructors may be teaching online sections of these courses. This faculty member will be expected to participate in enhancing the coherence and effectiveness of the teacher preparation programs.
