A regional educational institution is seeking Temporary Part-Time faculty to teach Emergency Medical Services courses either online or face-to-face. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and a current New Mexico State EMS License. The ideal candidate has experience related to EMS and the ability to work on campus. UNM Los Alamos anticipates hiring Temporary Part-Time faculty to teach online and/or face-to-face Emergency Medical Services courses at the 1000 or 2000 level. This is a continuous recruitment beginning in the Summer 2025 semester.

UNM-Los Alamos is a two-year branch campus of the University of New Mexico located approximately 90 miles northwest of Albuquerque. UNM-Los Alamos emphasizes teaching excellence and offers academic transfer courses, as well as vocational and technical courses to the citizens of Los Alamos County and northern New Mexico.
UNM-Los Alamos is seeking qualified temporary part time faculty members to teach lower division classes in various disciplines as specified above. UNM-LA instructors are responsible for all aspects of any class they are teaching including but not limited to meeting with the class during assigned times, content delivery, assignment development, grading assignments, reporting of grades, and assessment of student learning as outlined by the Program Coordinator. Strong preference is given to candidates who reside in New Mexico. Classes may be offered on-line or in person, depending on circumstances.
Adjunct Faculty at the UNM Los Alamos campus are currently compensated at the rate of $1,135.26 per credit hour.
