Job summary

The University of New Mexico-Gallup invites applications for temporary part-time adjunct faculty to teach a range of lower-division language courses at the Gallup Branch. Instructors will handle all aspects of course delivery, including meeting times, grading, and assessment, under the supervision of the division chair.

Positions are contingent on enrollment and may be filled or eliminated each semester. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and demonstrate native fluency; teaching experience

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and native fluency.
• Teaching experience at the college level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach lower-division courses as assigned in the specified languages.
• Meet class times, including face-to-face sessions, evenings, or weekends as needed.
• Develop and deliver content, assignments, and assessments; grade and report grades; and assess student learning per division guidelines.
