Job summary

Archway Marketing Services is seeking a Material Handler in Strongsville, OH, offering a temporary position with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. The successful candidate will accurately move and store materials using power-operated equipment and is expected to possess warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or three years of relevant warehouse experience required.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is required.
• Current forklift certification or ability to become certified within 30 days required.
• Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds alone and greater weights in a team-lift environment.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods.
• Able to climb ladders as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate all power-operated equipment requiring certification.
• Accurately pick and pack items for shipment, potentially with a forklift.
• Complete required paperwork and project time-tracking documentation.
• Restock items as per established procedures.
• Assist in scheduling pick-ups and deliveries with freight couriers.
• Label and prepare items for shipment; load and unload trucks as needed.
• Update the Warehouse Management System with transactions.
• Perform daily safety checklist and standard battery charging procedures.
• Assist team members in meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
