Job summary

Swick Mining Services is seeking a Temporary PT HR Coordinator (Recruitment + Onboarding) in Salt Lake City, UT. This role covers sourcing, screening, scheduling, onboarding, and HR administrative tasks to support a growing HR team. The assignment is approximately 4-6 months with DOE pay.

The position involves coordinating pre-employment activities, maintaining candidate records, and assisting with onboarding workflows while ensuring a positive candidate and employee experience.

• Comfortable conducting candidate outreach, phone screenings, and candidate follow-up communications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates through job boards and other recruiting channels.
• Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings.
• Schedule interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Assist with maintaining active job postings and applicant pipelines.
• Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
• Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug screens, and onboarding requirements.
• Prepare offer letters and related hiring documentation.
• Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system.
• Prepare onboarding paperwork and new hire documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and orientation logistics.
• Ensure completion of required employment forms and documentation.
• Assist with new hire setup and onboarding workflows.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company policies.
• Support compliance related recordkeeping and documentation requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
• Assist with HR filing, document management, and record organization.
• Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative documents.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
