Job summary

Washington Elementary School District is seeking a Temporary Hearing and Vision Screener for the 26/27SY in Glendale, AZ. The role supports Health Services by conducting hearing and vision screenings, maintaining equipment, and coordinating volunteers.

The incumbent will report to Health Service Coordinators, participate in trainings, and fulfill related duties. The position is full‑time during the school year with the district commitment to health screening protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED prior to hire.
• AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP FPCC) required.

Responsibilities

• Screen hearing with puretone equipment and report results to health personnel.
• Screen vision using district methods and report results to health personnel.
• Maintain and transport screening equipment to each site.
• Organize screenings with school personnel and maintain positive relationships with students.
• Train and organize volunteers to assist with screenings.
• Attend trainings and perform related duties for Health Services.
