Job summary

Danimer Scientific in Winchester, Kentucky seeks a Temporary Compounding Operations Technician to support hands-on production activities in a regulated environment. This role is temporary and will be staffed through a third-party agency, with potential conversion to a full-time Danimer position based on performance and business need.

You will operate compounding equipment, monitor conditions, complete batch records, and participate in SOP reviews while maintaining cGMP compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and follow SOPs.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate compounding process equipment, tanks, piping, and utilities.
• Monitor process conditions and adjust parameters as needed.
• Accurately complete batch records, logbooks, and production documentation.
• Add chemicals and additives based on calculations and process requirements.
• Operate forklift and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process or equipment issues.
• Maintain cGMP-compliant work areas and perform housekeeping.
• Identify, report, and act on quality or safety deviations.
• Stop production when a critical safety or quality issue is identified.
• Assist with SOP reviews and updates.
• Train new and developing operators as assigned.
• Communicate production metrics and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
