Job summary

Danimer Scientific is seeking a Temporary Compounding Operations Technician to support hands-on production in a regulated manufacturing environment. This temporary role is through a third-party staffing agency and may convert to a full-time position based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities include operating process equipment, monitoring conditions, completing records, and ensuring safety and quality. On-site shifts with day/night options and strict adherence to SOPs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and follow SOPs.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate compounding process equipment, tanks, piping and utilities.
• Monitor process conditions and adjust parameters as needed.
• Complete batch records, logbooks and production documentation.
• Add chemicals and additives based on calculations and process requirements.
• Operate forklift and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process or equipment issues.
• Maintain cGMP-compliant work areas and perform housekeeping.
• Identify, report, and act on quality or safety deviations.
• Stop production when safety or quality issues arise.
• Assist with SOP reviews and updates.
• Train new and developing operators as assigned.
• Communicate production metrics and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
