Page Six, part of The New York Post, seeks a bold Reporter (temporary) who thrives on celebrity news and quick, buzzy storytelling. You’ll pitch and write daily stories with speed, accuracy, and a distinctive voice, while leveraging social media trends and analytics to drive engagement.

This temporary role runs through September with a Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm EST schedule. Hybrid work in New York City or Los Angeles is supported.

Formación

• Two years of major journalism experience is required.
• Strong writing and reporting skills with ability to craft eye-catching headlines.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and analytics.
• Familiarity with Wordpress and photo editing tools.
• Comfort covering live pop culture events and outside normal hours.

Responsabilidades

• Pitch and write celebrity- and entertainment-based stories quickly with clean copy daily.
• Uncover under-the-radar stories to engage Page Six readers.
• Monitor social media trends and tailor content to audience interests.
• Use analytics to guide coverage and expand nighttime news.
• Think quickly, multitask, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced newsroom.
• Apply SEO best practices to ensure strong visibility.
