About the Job


As an Usher/Event Assistant at Northrop, you will serve as the face of Northrop to the public. We are looking for dynamic, engaging, customer-service oriented employees for a wide range of events, including large-scale concerts, dance programs, University events, and private events.


Qualifications


Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent oral communication skills and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use hand-held Walkie-Talkie with an ear bud connection
  • Must be able to work most of the Northrop Dance Series performances (Tue, Wed, Thurs, and Sat nights)
  • Schedule must allow for (3) 4-hour shifts per week on any combination of weekdays, weeknights, and weekends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment under a variety of conditions, such as loud noise, heights, and low light
  • Ability to manage stairs
  • Ability to deal effectively with a variety of personalities and situations

Pay and Benefits


Pay Range: $15.25 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
