Job summary

Allegiance in Shelby, NC is seeking a 1st Shift Security Guard for a temporary assignment (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM). You will support facility security, monitor cameras, enforce access control, and assist investigations to protect client property.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, the ability to pass background and drug screening, and the capacity to stand and walk for long periods. Prior security experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a background and drug screening.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and monitor premises.
• Knowledge of security operations and reporting.
• Ability to obtain a guard license.
• Ability to work all shifts and remain composed under stress.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras and report anomalies.
• Assist investigations concerning loss or damage of client property.
• Provide access control to the facility and document arrivals/departures.
• Follow post orders, Allegiance policy and procedures.
• Take statements, write reports, interview and observe information professionally.
• Communicate hazards to staff and enforce safety rules.
