Job summary

Eurofins EAG Laboratories is seeking a Materials Analyst to operate TEM and associated techniques for advanced materials and semiconductor analysis. The role emphasizes hands-on analysis, data organization, and delivering site-specific results within client timelines.

The successful candidate will be technically proficient in TEM/STEM, sample preparation, and interpretation of electron microscopy data, contributing to high-quality reports for multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering or related field or equivalent industry experience.
• Excellent operation and theory understanding of Transmission Electron Microscope
• Experience with TEM sample preparation and hard materials characterization
• Solid understanding of electron microscopy, semiconductor device physics and failure analysis

Responsibilities

• Obtaining TEM and STEM images of prepared samples
• Obtaining STEM/EDX and STEM/EELS spectra, line scans and maps
• Organizing data, prepare and deliver summary reports to customers
• Partnering with customers and team members to optimize experiments and explain results
• Developing TEM analysis protocols for new sample types
