Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an engineer to develop, optimize and maintain TEM analysis recipes, automate sample preparation, imaging and measurements. You will operate tools, align, calibrate and maintain them while developing software to improve throughput and quality.

Qualifications include a BS in a relevant field and 2+ years with AMHS/SEM/FIB/TEM/Metrology, plus Python and recipe editor skills. Onsite work in Austin, with extensive total rewards.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in a relevant engineering/science field.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with at least two of AMHS, SEM, FIB, TEM, Metrology.
• Fluent in Python and recipe editor or similar tools.
• Experience in recipe or software development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Developing, optimizing and maintaining recipes for tools using Python, recipe editor or similar tools.
• Performing basic operation, alignment, calibration and maintenance of tools in automated TEM analysis.
• Providing timely support for recipe troubleshooting.
• Learning new techniques and training peers.
