Guardians Credit Union in Florida seeks a Teller to manage cash transactions, balance cash drawers, and maintain accurate member records. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, and money orders while promoting products and services. Requires attention to detail, math skills, and solid customer service in a teller role.
Candidate should be able to operate a computer, use MS Office, and be familiar with data processing systems. This position is on-site in West Palm Beach, with training provided.
Receives and pays out money and keeps records of money and negotiable instruments involved in financial transactions by performing the duties as outlined below.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months
related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as all member records, compliance
rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to
write routine reports and correspondence effectively and grammatically accurate.
Ability to speak professionally and effectively before members, groups of members or
employees of organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved
written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete
variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of computers
and various software including, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet
applications. The individual must have a willingness (and then be proficient) to learn
DataSafe, the credit union’s data processing system.
