Job summary

Profinium, Inc. is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Minnesota to deliver an amazing banking experience. You will greet customers, handle daily transactions, and help connect clients with the right solutions.

You will work Monday through Friday, 20-25 hours per week, maintain cash drawer accuracy, follow banking regulations, and contribute to Profinium's positive, energetic P3 culture.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Junior or Senior in high school, on-track to graduate on time.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service environment.
• High numerical aptitude.
• Ability to count money and maintain confidentiality.
• Office environment skills including use of office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in customers and answer calls in a friendly, professional manner.
• Perform cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, mortgage and loan payments, and other transaction services.
• Refer customers to Relationship Bankers for advanced needs such as IRA and HSA options.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and security within assigned limits.
• Comply with banking laws, privacy rules, and funds availability policies.
• Promote Profinium's P3 values and create an amazing, energetic environment.

*This opportunity is Part-Time, Monday through Friday, 20-25 hours per week**

SCOPE

You are responsible for providing an AMAZING customer experience to Profinium customers. You help the organization to provide service to our customers & deepen existing customer relationships by taking care of their day-to-day banking transactions. You play an important role in delivering an AMAZING client experience!

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Customer Service - 95%

• You provide a high level of customer service, including greeting walk-in customers & answering incoming calls in a friendly, professional manner.
• You perform paying & receiving functions for customers. This will include cashing checks, taking deposits, withdrawals, mortgage, consumer loan & other payments. Additionally, you may provide official checks & help customers with other transaction services.
• You refer customers to other Relationship Bankers who can assist with their more advanced account needs. This includes checking, savings, certificates, safety deposit boxes, IRA’s & HSA’s, etc.
• You provide a high level of customer service & are knowledgeable of the bank products offered, allowing you to understand & service the customer’s needs.
• You ensure that the assigned cash balances on a daily basis, is kept secure at all times & must keep cash drawer within assigned drawer limits.
• You understand & comply with the related laws & compliance regulations that pertain to all of your duties. Examples include bank secrecy act, privacy, & funds availability policy.
• You recognize any suspicious behavior & have the ability to make decisions when to consult management on any transactions.

Other

• You have a basic understanding of the compliance function.
• As a part of the overall team of bank employees, you may be requested to assist in the support of other bank activities.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• You are currently a Junior or Senior enrolled in High School and on-track to graduate on time
• You have 1 year of experience in a customer service environment

• You have skills needed in a typical office environment, including computer skills & utilization of office equipment

While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, attend meetings, etc. You have the ability to operate a computer, carry, handle & feel objects; reach with hands & arms; communicate effectively & efficiently in person & over the phone. You must occasionally lift &/or move up to 25 pounds or more with assistance. You have the ability to travel to other locations as needed. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception & the ability to adjust focus.
