Job summary

SECU Credit Union Ltd. is seeking a Teller Services Representative to perform full teller transactions through video ITMs across Maryland. You will greet members, guide them through the ITM, and uncover financial needs for referral to staff.

Strong verbal communication, a genuine service mindset, and the ability to engage people using technology are essential. This role supports SECU's member-centered, community-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Handle teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments) via ITM.
• Assist members through ITM technology with engaging, personalized service.
• Identify financial needs and refer to financial center staff when needed.
• Provide accurate cash handling and transaction verification.
• Build relationships and ensure a positive member experience.

What You’ll Do.

A Teller Services Representative does what a Teller does in a traditional bank, but through video and an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM – an upgraded and more personable ATM!). Our ITMs sit in Financial Centers throughout Maryland, and when a member needs a teller service – you are on!

You will offer full Teller services first by using your engaging smile and reassuring members you will walk them through the ITM technology to complete their financial transaction. You will use your inquisitive nature to discover financial needs and refer them to a financial center team member for further assistance.

You will handle financial transactions like deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and more. Although the ITM will count and verify cash for you, your attention to detail is essential. The ITM is just a machine and you are the machine operator bringing your own engaging personalization to every transaction!
