Position: Retail Banker

PenFed is hiring a Retail Banker to work onsite at our AAFES branch in Dallas, Texas. The primary purpose of this role is to extend member relationships by offering appropriate financial solutions and services to meet our members' needs. The incumbent will also be trained to conduct cash transactions and will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed goals in a member-centric, results-driven environment.
• Engage with members effectively, building relationships and providing personalized service.
• Resolve member issues independently, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, or escalate as needed.
• Utilize industry-leading solutions to meet members' needs in areas like homeownership, wealth management, financial education, and debt management.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration with teammates, business partners, and the internal network.
• Explain and cross-sell PenFed loan and share products to improve members' financial lives.
• Demonstrate initiative and a commitment to continuous learning, adapting to changing demands.
• Assist members with loan processes, including application input, reviewing terms, and disbursement.
• Stay knowledgeable about the competitive landscape within financial services.
• Manage multiple responsibilities with strong organizational skills.
• Support cash transactions when necessary to meet member needs and ensure a top-tier member experience.
• Support branch operations, including working weekends or extended hours as required.
• Maintain proficiency in PenFed systems such as Salesforce, PenTeller, Knowledge, Hogan, and inbound calls network.
• Support additional PenFed initiatives to meet member and business needs.
• If Notary Public, provide notarization services in compliance with state laws.
• Provide inbound call support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in business management, administration, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of successful sales experience.
• Minimum six months of cash handling experience.
• Knowledge of financial services, products, and solutions.
• Valid Notary Public certification preferred.
• Previous phone-based customer service experience preferred.

Work environment includes an indoor office setting with moderate noise. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and travel to various worksites may be required.
