Job summary

Atlantic Union Bank is seeking a Teller to support client transactions and frontline banking activities at branch locations in Virginia. The role emphasizes accuracy, service quality, and adherence to bank policies while maintaining cash handling and compliance standards.

The Teller will assist customers, refer to staff for product opportunities, and participate in process improvements to strengthen service delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires basic knowledge of job procedures & tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
• Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.
• Typically requires 2+ years relevant experience
• May require vocational or technical training
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time & lift objects up to 30lbs

Job description

Branch Delivery is responsible for delivering high-quality, consistent client experiences across branch locations while ensuring operational excellence and adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements. Activities may include:

• Supporting client transactions
• Ensuring accurate and timely execution of all frontline banking activities
• Coaching and supporting branch teams to meet performance expectations
• Implementing process improvements that strengthen service delivery
• Monitoring operational controls to reduce risk and maintain compliance

The Teller role:

• Conducts all credit and debit transactions in compliance with established bank policies and procedures.
• Keeps proper cash supply on hand and prepares daily proof record while maintaining an acceptable difference record.
• May process night deposits and ATM transactions.
• Delivers excellent service to all bank customers.
• May refer customers to other bank staff for product sales or problem resolution.
• Other duties as assigned.
