Job summary

Affinity Federal Credit Union is seeking a Part-Time Teller at our Piscataway, NJ branch. You will build member relationships, open new accounts, and help members reach their financial goals in a consultative setting.

Candidates with customer service or sales experience, CRM familiarity (Salesforce preferred), and strong communication skills will thrive. Bilingual abilities are a plus and Saturday coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service or sales experience is essential; banking experience helpful.
• Spanish-speaking helpful; Saturday hours required.
• CRM experience, preferably Salesforce, is desired.

About this position

In order to continually provide our members with the highest level of service, Affinity FCU is seeking a Part‑Time Relationship Specialist to join our team of professionals at our branch location in Piscataway, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Build member relationships by providing exceptional financial support and advice through a consultative and educational approach, helping members exceed their financial goals and dreams.
• Open new accounts, enroll new members during initial consultation, and process applications.
• Resolve complex member issues and follow up with members to ensure satisfaction with current products and services and to inquire about future needs.

Qualifications

• Technologically savvy, especially with self‑service options; stay abreast of evolving consumer needs and trends.
• Adaptable to new or non‑traditional environments and committed to community engagement and corporate objectives.
• Prior customer service or sales experience is essential; banking experience helpful.
• Experience with CRM, preferably Salesforce, is desired.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Spanish‑speaking helpful; Saturday hours required.

Compensation

Starting pay range: $21–$23 per hour. The wage will depend on experience, education, and other qualifying factors.
