AmFirst in Leeds, Alabama is seeking a Teller to serve as the face of the credit union, providing exceptional service by processing transactions and addressing member inquiries.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in cash handling. Responsibilities include balancing cash drawers and assisting members with their financial needs. Role: Serves as the face of the credit union, providing exceptional service to members by processing transactions, answering questions, and supporting their financial needs.
Experience - One month to twelve months of similar or related experience. 6 months of cash handling preferred.
Education – A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills - Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information, which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
Other Skills - Intermediate PC knowledge with basic Microsoft Office skills. Detail-oriented and able to multitask. Good judgement in order to evaluate identities, accounts, checks and currency. Excellent communication skills with a pleasant tone. Ability to work in a team environment.
Physical Requirements – Must be able to move around the branch and must be able to sit and stand for an extended period of time. Light lifting is required.
