• Diploma/education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Interpersonal skills with confidentiality, discretion, diplomacy, and tact; strong communication.
• Ability to understand and communicate products, services, and regulations.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn core system/software.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and non-members and processes transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other negotiable instruments) in line with policies and compliance.
• Performs cash drawer balancing and assists with branch balancing.
• Educates and refers Credit Union products and services; directs members to the appropriate department as needed.
• Deescalates challenging member situations with sound judgment and problem-solving.
• Keeps knowledge of deposit and loan products up to date.
• Remains vigilant and reports any unusual or suspicious activity.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
