Job Summary

As a Retail Banker III, you will be a front-line customer service provider and the first point of contact for banking customers. Your responsibilities include accepting retail and commercial checking and savings deposits, processing loan payments, cashing checks and withdrawals, assisting with night depository and vault duties, and promoting the bank’s services by maintaining excellent customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Provide exemplary customer service as a positive role model
  • Accept and process applications for new business and consumer deposit accounts
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with policies and procedures
  • Serve as a specialist in internet banking for the market area
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Retail Bank Manager or Bank Officer
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of Retail Banker (Teller) experience
  • Cash handling experience

  • High School Diploma required
Working Conditions
  • Office environment, with occasional outdoor work
  • 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Occasional overtime or extended hours
Physical Requirements

Regularly required to sit, handle or feel with hands, and communicate verbally. Frequently reach with hands and arms. Occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must lift/move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
