Job description

Join to apply for the Teller II New Accounts role at Pinnacle Bank.

Provides quality service by assisting customers accurately and efficiently, and develops long-term customer relationships. Oversees the receiving and paying of money to bank customers, and ensures accurate record keeping of deposits, withdrawals, negotiable instruments, and other bank transactions. Performs a broad variety of customer service and sales activities, such as assisting walk-in and telephone customers with account problems and questions. Duties include selling and opening new accounts, closing accounts, and advising customers on bank services.

Full Time

Monday - Friday 9:00am-6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am-12:00pm, approximately 2-3 Saturdays per month.

Responsibilities And Duties
  • Perform all regular teller duties including accepting deposits, cashing checks, and other customer service tasks.
  • Listen to customer needs to make appropriate referrals to promote bank products and services.
  • Research and resolve customer inquiries regarding checking and savings accounts.
  • Handle account and card maintenance such as address changes, ordering, or hot card requests.
  • Prepare holds on deposits.
  • Complete forms such as CTRs, SIRs, and other BSA reporting as necessary.
  • Perform operational duties including vault operations, cash ordering/shipping, ATM settlement, and report completion.
  • Open and close deposit accounts, obtaining necessary BSA information and documents.
  • Assist customers in signing paperwork and maintaining accounts.
  • Achieve sales goals by being knowledgeable about bank products and services.
  • Perform customer service duties including answering calls, assisting walk-ins, processing check orders, closing accounts, and more.
  • Maintain customer accounts and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of banking products, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills, courteous and professional interaction.
  • Proficiency with computer terminals, printers, and other banking equipment.
  • Ability to listen effectively and make appropriate referrals.
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate accuracy and efficiency.
  • Team player with flexibility to perform additional duties as needed.
Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 30 months banking experience preferred.
