Qualifications

• High school degree or GED.
• 1+ years teller experience; 2+ years cash handling possible substitution.
• Knowledge of bank products, services, policies and banking regulations.
• Proficiency with personal computers and bank software.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients at lobby or on phone in a professional manner.
• Handle cash transactions: deposits, withdrawals, checks, and balances.
• Maintain cash drawer, daily proofs, and audit records.
• Issue money orders, traveler’s checks, savings bonds, and bank checks.
• Refer clients to banking associates for product information or problems.
• Cross-trained to open new accounts and assist a personal banker.
• Process client service tasks: address changes, stop payments, loan payments.
