Job Description: The Teller I works in a TD Store location, delivering legendary customer experiences by processing banking transactions accurately and efficiently, while educating customers on TD's products and referring them to specialists when needed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Executing TD's Brand promise through exemplary customer service
  • Handling deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and safe deposit transactions accurately
  • Balancing cash drawers and processing cash transactions securely
  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues or escalating as necessary
  • Engaging customers in the lobby, welcoming and guiding them appropriately
  • Educating customers on self-service and digital banking options
  • Conducting needs-based conversations and referring customers to appropriate partners
  • Making sound decisions and resolving problems promptly
  • Ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory guidelines
  • Verifying customer identities and maintaining security of confidential information
  • Balancing ATM and TCR cash, managing cash limits, and securing cash at all times
  • Following security procedures and utilizing bank tools to prevent fraud

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 months related experience preferred or demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military service
  • Availability to work during operating hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Customer service skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills

Physical Requirements: Occasional to continuous physical activity including standing, walking, lifting under 25 lbs., and operating office equipment. Must be able to respond quickly to sounds, concentrate, and perform multiple tasks.
