Job Description
The Teller I works at a TD Store location, delivering legendary customer experiences by processing banking transactions accurately and efficiently, while educating customers on TD's products/services or referring them to specialists.

Depth & Scope

  • Executes TD's Brand promise by delivering a Legendary Customer experience
  • Performs transactions like deposits, withdrawals, loan, and safe deposit payments
  • Balances cash drawer and processes cash transactions with high accuracy
  • Responds to customer inquiries and escalates issues as needed
  • Engages in lobby leadership, welcoming and guiding customers
  • Educates customers on banking preferences and digital options
  • Conducts needs-based conversations, offering solutions or referring to specialists
  • Makes decisions and resolves problems promptly, escalating complex issues
  • Ensures compliance with operational guidelines and regulations
  • Verifies customer identities following policies
  • Balances ATMs and other cash recyclers
  • Adheres to safe deposit procedures and secures cash and information
  • Follows security and audit measures to prevent loss
  • Uses bank tools to detect and prevent fraud
  • Completes required training by deadlines

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 months related experience preferred; volunteering, education, military experience can be considered
  • Availability to work during operating hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays
  • Customer Service skills preferred
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
