Lumberton, Texas, United States

Essential Functions:
  1. Processes financial transactions promptly and accurately.
  2. Strictly adheres to all bank policies and procedures.
  3. Prioritizes client demands.
  4. Provides impeccable customer service.
  5. Communicates professionally with all clients and colleagues.
  6. Upholds understanding of all banking products and services, along with company systems and procedures.
  7. Participates in job-specific training, various bank training programs such as customer service, and complies with BSA, AML, and all bank policies and procedures as required. Other duties as assigned.
  8. Actively participates in the Customer Service First program and supports the values of the organization, following established policies and procedures.
  9. Periodic travel to Abilene or other Bank Regions for training is required.
  10. Saturday hours and holiday hours may be required based on your branch location's hours of operation.
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. A self-starting team player with a High school diploma or GED.
  2. Any of the following:
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 6 months previous teller experience within the financial institution industry
    • 6 months previous cash handling experience (including balancing a cash drawer) in a retail customer service environment
  3. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  4. Computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft programs, along with impeccable written and oral communication skills.
  5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with handling frequent interruptions and little to no supervision.
  6. The position can be mentally and physically stressful, requiring standing most of the workday, and lifting, carrying, or moving heavy boxes or bags of currency and coin weighing up to 60 pounds.
  7. Must be able to work flexible and extended hours as required by the business.
  8. Periodic travel to Abilene or other Bank Regions for training is required.
  9. Saturday hours and holiday hours may be required based on your branch location's hours of operation.
Preferred Skills:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
