Job summary

The Chronicle of Higher Education in Billings, MT is seeking an entry-level teller to greet customers and handle broad-based banking services and transactions. You will perform basic paying and receiving functions, balance currency and coin, issue cashier checks and gift cards, and refer customers to Bank officers.

You will follow security controls and banking regulations, protect customer information, and have the opportunity to advance to a Teller II by taking on additional responsibilities

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal/team skills with ability to develop effective working relationships.
• Previous personal/computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic paying and receiving functions including cashing checks and processing deposits.
• Balance currency and coin, process cash advances, and issue cashier checks.
• Fill customer change orders and handle mail/night depository.
• Redeem savings bonds and manage currency exchanges as needed.
• Adhere to security controls and dual-control procedures.
• Protect customer information and follow banking regulations.
