General Description

Provides a variety of customer service functions, including product referrals and meeting Banking Center Associate Standards. Provides exemplary customer service. Processes a variety of financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner. Maintains security of assigned cash, balancing each day's transactions and verifying cash totals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Represent the bank in a courteous and professional manner; knowledgeable of 5 Winning Ways of Customer Service and implements on a daily basis. Meets or exceeds Secret Shop score expectations. (Approximately 20%)
  2. Refer customers to appropriate Great Southern services and products; meets or exceeds referral expectations. Uses CRM program accurately. (Approximately 20%)
  3. Balance each day's transactions and verify cash totals; locate and document cash differences. Meets or exceeds balancing expectations. (Approximately 20%)
  4. Process all transactions efficiently and accurately; meet or exceed POD error expectations. (Approximately 15%)
  5. Maintain confidentiality of customer account information, security alarm codes, and general codes. Implement bank security policies and procedures; attend annual BSA and Security training. (Approximately 10%)
  6. Ensure full compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable banking regulations. (Approximately 15%)
  7. Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and professional appearance. Communicate clearly via various methods. Adhere to all policies, regulations, and laws including BSA/AML.
  8. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0 to 6 months of related experience or training
  • Prior banking or cash handling experience preferred
  • Proficient with desktop/laptop computers and basic software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
