Job summary

Tri County Area FCU is seeking a Teller to deliver prompt, courteous, and accurate service to members in our branch. The Teller handles member transactions, assists with account needs and supports cross-selling of credit union products.

The position offers both part-time and full-time (non-exempt) schedules. Applicants should have good math, computer skills, and strong interpersonal abilities to serve our diverse member base.

Qualifications

• High school education equivalent required.
• Sales or financial experience preferred.
• Computer skills are required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be results-oriented and motivated.
• Intermediate mathematical skills (decimals, percentages, fractions).

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions.
• Manage cash drawer and vault cash.
• Process mail and night drop transactions.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Assist members with payroll deductions, direct deposits, and other arrangements.
• Maintain order in teller area.
• Meet or exceed goals set by management.
• Attend meetings and training.
• Learn policies and procedures; perform clerical duties.
• Comply with NCUA/FINCEN and state regulations.
