Job summary

Metro Bank seeks a customer-focused teller in Oklahoma to handle deposits, withdrawals, payments and cash balancing. You will verify identities, process loan payments and assist customers with banking products while upholding security and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of customer service or banking experience, a high school diploma, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to learn banking software quickly.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years customer service, cash handling or banking experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Accepts checks for cashing – verifying identity of customer.
• Accepts checks / cash for deposits. Verifies cash and endorsement, makes change, and issues receipts.
• Processes Tax Deposits.
• Receives and processes loan payments.
• Processes credit card cash advances.
• Balances Cash Drawer.
• Balance and Stock ATM.
• Processes night deposits and mail-in deposits.
• Sells money orders, cashier checks and other bank-related services.
• Responds to customer inquiries as appropriate.
• Maintains proper cash level in drawers, keeps cash secure and maintains safety for the Bank.
• Responsible for outgoing mail and postage.
• Performs other tasks requested by supervisor as they relate to the Bank and its functions.
• Applicant should be self-motivated and take initiative to achieve goals and bank objectives.
• They must maintain a professional appearance in grooming and dress, adhering to the company dress code.
