Job summary

Columbia Bank is hiring a Teller to be the first point of contact for clients at our Lakeport branch. You will perform teller transactions with accuracy, balance cash, and help customers with deposits, withdrawals, and transfers while promoting bank products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. 1 year of previous banking or customer service experience preferred. Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy with numbers, words, and instructions.
• Builds relationships with clients and bank associates.

Responsibilities

• Always performs teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer and process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and check cashing.
• Mitigate risk by safekeeping money and promptly accounting or transferring funds.
• Interact with clients, identify needs, and offer appropriate bank products and services.
