Job summary

Wal-Mart in Hannibal, MO is seeking a reliable Teller to handle cash transactions, process deposits and withdrawals, and maintain accurate balance records. You will enter customer data into the computer system and provide friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, examine checks for endorsements.
• Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Enter customers' transactions into computer to record transactions and issue computer generated receipts.
• Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
• Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift.
• Promotes and cross-sells other establishment products and services such as internet banking, cashier’s checks, trust and investment services.
• Load new accounts and account maintenance in Computer System.
• Remove deposits from, and counts and balances cash in, automated teller machines and night depository.
