Responsibilities

• Provide daily deposit services: deposits, withdrawals, holds, loan payments, cashier's checks, money orders, stop payments, and related tasks.
• Maintain cash drawer within prescribed limits and manage vault transactions as needed.
• Accurately count, receive and disburse cash.
• Verify and balance cash drawer daily; maintain over/short records.
• Prepare forms for Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance and obtain required documentation.
• Understand and apply compliance issues related to BSA, Regulation CC, E, DD, P, and related regulations.
• Understand security procedures and know post-robbery steps.
• Keep work area neat and ensure cash, negotiable items, and confidential records are secured.
• Provide exemplary customer service in person and by telephone; resolve difficult situations tactfully.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote bank products to meet customer needs.
• Participate in STEP program; attend sales and STEP training; help achieve goals.
• Acquire knowledge of all bank products and attend required training.
• Assist others in the department; may be assigned vault or ATM balancing responsibilities.
