This position requires working 20 hours per week, including varying weekday shifts and every Saturday.

Branch Hours

• Monday - Thursday: 9AM - 5PM
• Friday: 9AM - 6PM
• Saturday: 9AM - 1PM
• Sunday: Closed

Position Overview

Nature and Scope

Performs transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with high accuracy. Provides cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures. Presents and explains a basic number of credit union products and services to members. Represents the credit union in a positive and professional manner.

Requirements

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous work experience with cash handling or customer service preferred.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.
4. Experience or ability to gain proficiency in all programs and systems used for this job.
5. Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures related to this position, and compliance with all policies, procedures, and laws.
6. Ability to stand for long periods.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Provides friendly, courteous, and expedient teller services to members, ensuring a balanced cash drawer daily.
2. Cross-sells other member services.
3. Processes mail deposits and withdrawals.
4. Assists in balancing the ATM (if not performed externally).
5. May assist in opening/closing duties with manager on site.
6. May verify checks for other tellers.
7. May perform overrides.
8. May be cross-trained in other branch positions.
9. May attend training at headquarters or off-site.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
