Job description

What You Will Do :

As a Teller / Banker at Security Service, you will be the first impression of our credit union to members. You will become an expert in Security Service products and services, helping members achieve their financial goals. Your responsibilities include promoting checking and savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and insurance services, ensuring offerings meet members' needs and contribute to their financial success. You will support the credit union's goal of becoming America's Best by meeting sales targets, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and educating members on digital services. You will be cross-trained in teller and banker functions, providing comprehensive service and growth opportunities for yourself.

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour

What We Require :

We support career growth; roles have a clear career path. Candidates may start as Member Consultant I or II, with many branch managers beginning as tellers/bankers.

Member Consultant I : High school diploma or equivalent, with at least two (2) years' experience in retail banking, cash handling, customer service, or sales.

Must have a customer-centric attitude, excellent communication skills, proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in work hours is required; Sundays off are guaranteed. Travel to other branches may be necessary.

Ideal Candidate Will Have :

A desire to grow within the credit union, experience with banking systems, and a knack for uncovering customer needs through effective questioning. The goal is to inform members of our offerings to save them time and money.
