What You Will Do
As a Teller/Banker, you will be the first impression of the credit union to our members. You will become an expert in Security Service products and services to help members reach their financial goals. Building long-lasting relationships by promoting checking and savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and insurance services, you will only offer products that meet members' needs and contribute to their financial success. You will support the credit union in becoming America's Best by meeting sales goals, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and educating members on digital services. You will provide "universal" service, cross-trained in teller and banker functions for better service, offering growth opportunities. You will also perform other duties to support our vision, purpose, and values.
What We Require
Most of our branch managers started as Teller/Bankers. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of retail banking, cash handling, customer service, or sales experience. A customer-centric attitude, excellent communication skills, proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and the ability to work a flexible schedule are essential. Travel to other branches may be required. Management may require completion of federal registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator within 180 days, with ongoing compliance and background checks.
