Job summary

The People’s Federal Credit Union is seeking a teller to assist members with daily financial transactions and to provide friendly, accurate service in a mid-day shift. Responsibilities include cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, money orders, and transfers within member accounts.

The role involves welcoming members, explaining services, cross-selling CU products, and performing general clerical tasks such as typing and answering calls.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sells money orders and travelers checks to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed.
• Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
• Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service.
• Cross-sells credit union services.
• Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone.

Mid-Day hours: 1:00-6:15 PM M-F; Rotating Saturday mornings 8:45-12:15

Role:
