KeyCorp seeks a Teller to serve clients in our Lake Stevens, WA branch, delivering friendly, accurate in-person service and handling daily cash transactions. You will guide customers through account activities, resolve issues, and identify opportunities to support their financial wellness goals.
You will work with team members to maintain compliance and security while promoting bank products and services. This is a branch-based role requiring reliable availability, including Saturdays.

As a Teller, you provide excellent client service in-person by welcoming both new and existing clients to the Bank and assisting them with their account transactions and servicing needs, including identifying and resolving client servicing issues. Tellers, through conversations with clients, listen to uncover financial needs and transition clients to a banker to have a deeper financial wellness conversation. High School Diploma , GED, or equivalent business experience (required)
Is knowledgeable about the client’s accounts and business with the bank and uses sound judgment with clients and transactions. Exhibits strong sales and service skills, presenting products and services while proactively educating clients on utilizing available access channels (ex: ATM, Online and Telephone Banking). Strong work ethic and high level of integrity. Excellent time management skills. This skill involves managing and maintaining client accounts, ensuring accuracy and security. As a teller, you would assist clients with updating account information and ensuring all transactions are processed correctly. Educating clients on managing their finances effectively and promoting financial health. As a teller, you would identify opportunities to discuss financial wellness with clients, such as budgeting, saving, and planning for the future, and guide them to appropriate resources or bank services. Ability to accurately and securely process of cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift Ensuring accuracy in transactions and maintaining organized records Ability to identify and resolve client servicing issues efficiently Understanding and following banking regulations and security procedures Skills in identifying financial needs and promoting relevant banking products and services Awareness of techniques to detect and prevent fraudulent activities Collaborating effectively with teammates to ensure smooth operations Core Competencies All KeyBank employees are expected to demonstrate Key's Values and abide by Key's Code of Conduct.
Ability to occasionally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.
