About The Role

Position Summary

First Bank of Wyoming's Lovell branch is seeking a full-time OUTGOING, TALENTED, and ENTHUSIASTIC individual to join their Teller Team! This position is the “frontline” of the bank and plays an essential role in customer satisfaction in the day-to-day process. Following through with customer issues that may arise and referring customers to other departments when appropriate is vital to the teller position. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with regulations and audit standards related to your responsibilities while exemplifying our Core Values: Embrace Responsibility, Execute with Excellence, Pursue Growth & Learning, Thrive Together. Work hours may vary and include weekends.

Must have availability from 07:45 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday. The entry-rate for this position is $15.00/hour (for Lovell, WY).

Compensation offers are analyzed individually, considering factors like location, experience, and education.

Essential Functions
  • Greet all customers actively, learn their names, develop relationships, and ensure customer loyalty and satisfaction by listening and assisting with financial requests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service following our Quality Service Standards and My Service Pledge (Smile, Eye Contact, Refer by Name, Offer Options, Acknowledge, Customers Come First, End with Thank You).
  • Conduct financial transactions accurately within guidelines (deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, cashier’s checks, etc.).
  • Introduce new products/services (credit/debit cards, online banking, etc.) when applicable.
  • Maintain accurate balances and cash limits, safeguarding cash by adhering to policies on cash handling, variations, opening/closing procedures, and dual-control processing. Be accountable for all cash handled.
  • Manage risk by detecting fraudulent activities and staying current on fraud warnings, discussing suspicious transactions with customers as per procedure.
  • Process overages/shortages according to Cash Variation Policy.
  • Create and maintain a clean, neat, and welcoming environment, respecting customer confidentiality.
  • Keep customer information private and confidential.
  • Maintain a professional appearance according to dress code.
  • Display a positive attitude, courtesy, and respect towards customers and colleagues.
  • Complete required training courses timely and seek clarification when needed.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures, laws, and regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and OFAC.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of related experience, including preparatory experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical and Other Requirements

Must meet physical demands such as sitting, handling objects, talking/hearing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, and pulling. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Visual acuity for data analysis, reading, inspection. Ability to work indoors and outdoors, travel occasionally, and perform duties under various environmental conditions. Must have good mental acuity, discretion, and professionalism under stress and deadlines.
